This page is about the RRD102 module.

This module is a little PCB with a RDA5807m FM receiver chip on it.
One of the features of this receiver chip is that it supports reception of [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_Data_System RDS].

RDS allows such things as:
* identification of the FM transmitter in 8 characters
* additional information about the current program
* time (might be useful to sync your clock?)
* list of alternate frequencies
