The RFID workshop was enjoyed by approximately 20 people. After an introduction by Tomputer, explaining the basics of RFID (or NFC). The link level, signalling, cryptography. After a short break, Roel Verdult from the Radboud university continued to go deeper into the cryptography used in mifare classic cards (such as the OV-chip card and cards used in building access control) and vectors of attack.

For several hours after, discussion continued in subgroups. Without doubt, this workshop will inspire further projects, such as the mikeycard project and [TikiTagOrder|the bulk-order of RFID readers].

The workshop concluded with dinner at a chinese restaurant in Zoetermeer. An enjoyable way to spend the saturday afternoon. More of this please!
