Finance

Just to get a rough idea of the financial side of our plans. The amounts are pencilled in, call them educated guesses. Amounts in euro's and including BTW.

Income

Monthly membership fees. The height of these have to be discussed. Some people are prepared to pay more than others, and we probably need some differentiation for (eg.) students anyway.

| *What* | *Amount* | | 20 members | 500 | | Sale drinks & food | 40 | | Total | %CALC{"$SUM( $ABOVE() )"}% |

Expense

Expense splits into two categories: structural and incidental. Whereas structural costs should be covered entirely by membership fees, incidental costs can come from donations made by organisations.

Structural

Structural costs, indicated per month.

| *What* | *Amount* | | Rent | 500 | | Utilities | 100 | | Internet | 50 | | Insurance | 30 | | Total | %CALC{"$SUM( $ABOVE() )"}% |

Insurance

No costs defined yet but we need at least the following insurances

  • Home insurance
  • Liability insurance

Incidental

Concentrating on setting up the space.

| *What* | *Amount* | | Legal | 1000 | | Redecoration | 5000 | | Plumbing / electrical | 2000 | | Equipment | 4000 | | Total | %CALC{"$SUM( $ABOVE() )"}% |

Initial Income

Concentrating on the setup we have to get some income beforehand. Below here a list of probabilities were we can get some money

  • Government (subsidy)
  • Sponsors (commercial, non-commerical)

We have to keep in mind that to stay independent there is a need for no strings. This could be hard at first but should be feasible.
