Repair Cafe
Repair Cafe is a "laagdrempelige ontmoetingsplaats, waar buurtbewoners hun eigen kapotte spullen kunnen (laten) repareren, onder deskundige begeleiding en in een ontspannen sfeer." In the past some of us have joined in as repairman and we have kept contact with them. They really like to concept of a hackerspace and would like organize one at Revspace.
Suggested planning for the day is :
- repaircafe from 10:00-12:00 (max 13:00)
- People can come in with their b0rken stuff, the repair crew (from the repair cafe community and us) fixxo0rez it.
- 13:00ish - 14:00ish Lunch
- 14:00 ishc - 15:00 or later Workshop
- Soldering workshop
- repair tutorials for some basic things
Workshops
The organization of RepairCafe has asked us whether we would be willing to give a workshop or two. From their email :
Inhoudelijk hebben wij bijvoorbeeld ideeën zoals een workshop over het maken van bepaalde veel voorkomende apparaten zoals senseo`s en basisvaardigheden leren zoals solderen.
