Overview
Plants are nice. Unfortunately seedlings and fragile plants are not fans of cold and little sunlight, both of which are in abundance in the Netherlands this time of year. LED lights can be [effective light sources for plants](http://hortsci.ashspublications.org/content/39/7/1617.full.pdf) with the right mix of wavelengths.
Meanwhile, computer cases are sturdy, full of holes for wires and tubes, and seem to breed in the off-hours at RevSpace. Converting a box or two to serve as a plant-house can get us a good starting environment for seedlings/baby plants, which can then be transferred to larger homes or just consumed.
