Today we installed a cable modem. The bandwidth of our connection is 50 Mbit downstream and 5 Mbit upstream (theoretically).

And to answer the question "Can I haz _faster_ interwebz?" already: In the near future we will have 120 Mbit downstream and 10 Mbit upstream, because of some ISP-side upgrades.
