What
This page is about the RRD102 module.
This module is a little PCB with a RDA5807m FM receiver chip on it. One of the features of this receiver chip is that it supports reception of RDS.
RDS allows such things as:
- identification of the FM transmitter in 8 characters
- additional information about the current program
- time (might be useful to sync your clock?)
- list of alternate frequencies
