On April 16th Revelation Space will host the why-fi workshop by Rotterdam artist&hacker collective moddr_, who enriched the worldwith the end of the internet and the web 2.0 suicide machine (whichgot them into a bit of a kerfuffle with myspace).

The workshop will showcase the ease of cracking WEP/WPA wireless network encryptions as a way for understanding the risks of Wi-Finetworks and will provide participants with handy computer skills forthe precarious offline times. Further, we'll look at network packetcapture and how content (images/text) can be easily changed for socialmedia interventions. The course is open to anyone with a healthy doseof curiosity and paranoia. No prior technical experience is required.Bring your own laptop (either PC or Intel-Mac, G3/G4 Macintoshcomputers are not supported).
